PORO - Kanji Study 4.7.1

PORO Japanese Kanji for All is one of our ongoing projects for Kanji learners. Our goal is to provide a helpful, free, and easy-to-use tool for learning Kanji.

The PORO Japanese Kanji application's content includes 2500 Kanji of all levels, ranging from Kanji N5 to Kanji N1. These Kanji are divided into 231 topics, covering almost all levels, to help you practice and reinforce your Japanese Kanji skills.

Each Kanji comes with detailed information on meanings, kunyomi, onyomi, and many examples. The app provides learners with various tools to study, from flashcards and customizable quizzes to kanji challenges. You can also mark words that you have remembered.

The app also offers over 1300 questions with 100 quizzes that mimic the types of tests in the JLPT exam.

Main Features

• Detailed kanji info: View kanji, its meaning, and learn kunyomi and onyomi for each kanji. Check out example words, kanji relations, and their meanings to build up your vocabulary.
• Flashcard study: Study readings, onyomi, kunyomi, and associated meanings. Swipe to test your memory of each kanji and easily move to another kanji to learn. You can assign a favorite mark to filter your favorite kanji.
• Practice tests: Customize questions to test your memory and understanding of kanji, meanings, kunyomi, onyomi, and their relations. Expand your vocabulary by doing tests with related words. The app also offers customized review of incorrect answers to help you remember them.
• Kanji challenges: Improve your kanji recognition by challenging yourself to recognize the correct kanji based on given meanings within a limited time.
• JLPT test: Each level contains over 400 grammar activities, split into about 20 tests. These tests are designed to mimic the real JLPT exam and prepare you for it. You can review your results at the end of each test and receive explanations for the answers you got wrong.
• General view of all 2500 kanji words: Get an overview of all 2500 kanji words from beginner to advanced levels. Compare the differences between each kanji. Track your learning progress by seeing which kanji you have already remembered. There are 5 levels to choose from, suitable for beginners to advanced learners.
